10 things your Dad never told you.

1. He was so often afraid, and yet so very brave. Wanted to be sure you were always protected.

2. He was always worried he would fail to provide for you. He wanted you to have everything he didn’t.

3. He struggled to show you just how deep his love was.

4. He never knew the right things to say, but was always proud of you.

5. He rarely knew the right thing to do, but reassured you it would be ok.

6. He always feared you’d grew up, and not need him any more.

7. He wished everyday he was a better man, and wanted you to be better than him.

8. He would sacrifice himself in a minute, to save you.

9. He often went without, so you wouldn’t.

10. He still longs for the day when your little body would fit on his shoulders.

No matter what sacrifices were made, he’d would do it all again in a Hearbeat.
